Attention Dubai - Slow Down and Make Sure You're Careful of These Brand New Speed Limits On Dubai Roads

It’s time to take note of one of the most important news of this week!

Two of the Major Roads in Dubai – Well known as Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road & Emirates Road, have decreased their speed limits from 120 kilometers per hour to 110 kilometers per hour (Yes! You heard that right! )

As per Maitha bin Adai, CEO of Traffic and Roads Agency – The reason for implementation of these new speed limits, is taken in order to reduce accidents and improve road safety.

These new speed limits would mean that the radars would go off at cars going above the speed of 131, as there will be a 20-kilometer per hour leverage as per the Roads and Transport Authority.

Also, For every 30kms exceeded, you will be given a  Dhs600 fine, followed by Dhs700 for 40kms per hour, and Dhs1,000 for 50 km per hour.

So, Be Careful & Drive Safe Peeps!
