Mark your calendars for the 18th of August 2019 as BK is all set to add new upscale multisensory global dining experience to the world’s tallest building; The 250-seat restaurant reflects Armani aesthetic and offers unique perspective on the Downtown Dubai culinary scene.
Called 3BK, this is the first independent dining and entertainment destination located within Burj Khalifa and Armani Hotel Dubai, and is a 250-seat dinner venue dominating the third floor of the award-winning luxury hotel, which will deliver a standalone culinary experience to celebrates the very best in global culinary innovation as well as paying homage to classic flavours from around the world.
Its premium Burj Khalifa location is set to become a major attraction for Dubai residents and visitors to the city, offering a uniquely multifaceted and multisensory experience. Additionally, the 23500-square-metre former events space has been transformed into a lavish contemporary styled dining destination where each distinctive section leads seamlessly into the next social area.
The restaurant’s thoughtful design reflects the distinctive Armani values and luxury service ethos while combining layers of materials like translucent onyx, polished gold accents, and tones of creams, grays, and earth metallics framed in bold clean lines. The furniture is modern yet taking inspiration from classic designs, with the use of patterned contemporary plush earth tone marbles and leather. Most of the interior is executed in shades of gold, in different materials as leather for chairs, metal in details and metallic lacquered pillars that accentuates the rich materials used. Tables are in onyx, both inside and outside to give each table a distinct characteristic within the space, and the sofas are in gold-colored leather.
Floor-to-ceiling windows on the full-perimeter of the space that are decorated with Roman blinds, and the luxurious setting of the restaurant is complemented by an expansive al fresco terrace with views over The Dubai Fountain and Downtown Dubai.
The double height ceiling with a bar area and a wide dining space adds an enhanced feel of spaciousness. A duo of chic urban-themed bar areas is located at the entry to 3BK restaurant and out on the terrace, with a team of resident DJs adding their unique vibe to the ambience at both points and a shisha menu available to al fresco patrons.
At the culinary helm is the Head Chef Esteban Torregrosa. His seasonally changing menu offers a gourmet international perspective designed to reflect Dubai’s multicultural demographic. The sharing-style menu is a showcase for the very best of east to west and north to south flavours. Underpinned by innovation it also honours classic flavours and preparations from Asia and Europe to the Middle East and Latin America.
Opening season menu signature dishes include a delicate all about corn with texture of corns filled with trio cheese and kadaif breading, a Scallop stones that marries seaweed cured scallops and yogurt roast garlic jel, an Asian inspired wagyu maki rolls with +9 wagyu beef, foie gras, asparagus and truffle and the delightful miso milk cake, made up of a yoghurt ice cream with black sesame foam, yuzu pearls.
The restaurant’s resident mixologist has also created a beverage menu that is a celebration of modern mixology and inventive combinations.
