Tolosa Bodega - Dubai - United Arab Emirates
Thu 20 September 2018
Tolosa comes from the Occitan name of Toulouse in south-west France.
We aim to provide sumptuous traditional French cuisine with a professional yet relaxed environment for all to enjoy. We have a lovely cozy 40 seat restaurant with serving a mix of traditional French dishes with a strong influence from the Basque region. As well as a large comfortable lounge area to enjoy our large selection of wine and unique cocktails before or after your meal or just to enjoy a few snacks to share, we also have a attractive terrace in which to dine overlooking the beautiful Souk Al Bahar, two minutes walking distance from the dancing fountain
I really enjoyed my experience at Tolosa, which offers the best of the fine French cuisines. I tried the seabass and it was just wow. Tolosa is definitely a must try while in Souk Al Bahar.
The Nutella fondant is another journey, and a must try!
Souk Al Bahar is always a great choice for dining, so I had high expectations for Tolosa! It did meet all my expectations and more... So many traditional dishes including the French delicacy frogs legs which I tried for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised! The food, ambiance, and vibes were all very satisfying! I will be back for sure!
Try the duck in red wine sauce was recommended as a signature dish and it tasted just as good as it looked
The ambiance of this French bistro is appealing with its cozy corners, wooden tables and a large bar serving a variety of wines and cocktails. Filled with fun vibes, the place is chic yet laid back encouraging you to be social and enjoy your time here. Their beautifully simple menu is filled with quintessentially traditional French dishes and you can expect to find everything from onion soup to corn-fed chicken, confit duck to frog legs here. The tapas selection goes perfectly with the drinks
Don't miss - Frogs legs (They taste just like chicken)
Also, Ditch the car and take a cab instead so you can enjoy their wonderful French wine collection. My favorite was the fruity Rose d' Anjou from Domaine des Nouelles.
The venue has a very homely and cozy feel to it. There is no way you won't fall in love with the interiors of the restaurant, as soon as you walk in. The venue has both an indoor and outdoor seating, which has great vibes and is perfect for a romantic night with your loved one. The Food selection is quite varied and has French and Spanish delicacies. We tried the Patatas Bravas and Moules for the starters - which are loaded with goodness, followed by the 3 cheese ravioli which is delicious
Ask the waiter for the special for the day and you will be surprised. Also, the wine selection here is to die for!
